BlendED National combines flexible online learning, real-world connection, and trauma-informed wellbeing support.
BlendED National is designed for young people who have disengaged from traditional schooling.
We bring together learning, wellbeing, and peer connection – online and in-person – walking alongside each young person as they rebuild confidence, connection and a love of learning.
Online and in-person, built around each young person’s needs.
Every young person’s learning plan is co-designed with them and their support network.
Teachers, youth workers and wellbeing staff working as one team.
A consistent approach, delivered locally in each state across Australia.
No school fees. Excursions, devices and internet access are all provided free of charge.
We host gatherings and excursions to encourage friendships, build confidence and strengthen peer support.
BlendED National supports young people whose access to education has been disrupted by experiences such as school refusal otherwise known as “School Can’t”, neurodivergence, anxiety, bullying, trauma and mental ill-health.
School can look different and it still belong to you. With BlendED, learning happens online and in-person, at your own pace, with a team who listens and cares.
If your young person has struggled to find their place in school, BlendED offers a supported alternative where education, wellbeing, and belonging stand side by side.
We believe learning thrives when young people feel safe, connected, and cared for—so we prioritise academic growth alongside emotional wellbeing and strong peer connections.
Tasmania is the first state to introduce BlendED National with full-time online learning for young people in Years 7-10.
From Term 3 BlendED Queensland will welcome young people in Years 7-9.
Wherever access to education remains a privilege, the church must push open doors and invent new pathways… To educate is an act of hope.

BlendED National is proud to be part of Edmund Rice Education Australia (EREA) — a national network committed to creating inclusive learning communities.
Guided by the EREA Charter and Touchstones, we embrace principles that shape our mission and daily practice: offering a liberating education, fostering radical inclusion, and working for justice and equity. These values inform everything we do, from how we support young people to how we build relationships and create safe, caring spaces for learning.
Our work continues the vision of Edmund Rice: opening doors and creating new pathways for young people who need them most.
